What you'll do**:**
- Build and maintain quantitative models for risk assessment across DeFi lending protocols, focusing on statistical analysis, time series forecasting, and stress testing
- Develop data pipelines and analytical frameworks to process on-chain data, identifying patterns and anomalies in protocol behavior and market conditions
- Apply advanced statistical methods to evaluate protocol health metrics, liquidity dynamics, and systemic risks across interconnected DeFi ecosystems
- Create automated monitoring systems and risk indicators that provide real-time insights into protocol performance and emerging threats
- Design and implement backtesting frameworks to validate risk models and optimize protocol parameters under various market scenarios
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate quantitative insights into production-ready tools and client-facing dashboards
- Produce technical documentation, methodology papers, and data-driven reports for both internal use and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Statistics background (degree or equivalent experience)
- Mathematical modeling skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in time series analysis, and financial modeling
- Knowledge of how lending protocols work structurally
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of Software engineering practises
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment
- Team player able to collaborate with clients and internal teams
